Q: When and where is the 2025 CSL IGNITE Conference taking place?
A: The conference is scheduled for October 1st-3rd, 2025, at the Omni Richmond Hotel in Richmond, VA. The location is 100 South 12th Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219. The phone number is (804) 344-7000.
Q: Is there a dress code for the conference?
A: Yes, business casual is recommended in general, yet there are specific guidelines for the following events:
- Wednesday morning/afternoon: Travel & Vendor Trade Show
Business casual (jeans, CSL polos, etc.) - Wednesday evening: Themed Dinner & Networking Party
- Thursday morning/afternoon: Keynote Speaker and Education Sessions
Business casual - Thursday evening: CSL Annual Awards Ceremony
Evening wear is encouraged for this formal event. - Friday morning: CSL Gives Back Philanthropic Event

Q: Are meals provided during the conference?
A: Yes, meals are provided. You can review the menu here. This includes:
- Buffet dinner during the Wednesday evening themed networking party
- Breakfast and lunch on Thursday
- Afternoon snack break on Thursday
- Awards dinner on Thursday evening
- Breakfast on Friday
Q: I’m arriving early on the first day of the conference. What can I do with my luggage before check-in?
A: You may store your luggage in the Shenandoah Room. On the final day of the conference, you can store your luggage in James River Salons A & B.
Q: Is there a mobile app for the conference?
A: No. The conference website contains the full schedule, speaker information, and all other conference-related specifics. Additionally, you will be given a printed schedule on Day 1 during registration that will contain the full conference schedule.
Q: What should I bring to the conference?
A: We recommend bringing:
- Business cards
- A notebook
- Any devices you may need (laptop, tablet, etc.)
- Appropriate attire for all scheduled events
- Comfortable shoes for walking
- A light jacket or sweater (conference rooms may be cool)
Q: Is there parking available at the Omni Richmond Hotel?
A: Yes, the Omni Richmond Hotel offers valet parking for guests. For team CSL, Valet is only $25 per day. Self-parking is also available at the nearby James Center (no in/out privileges) for $25 per day.
Q: Is there a Starbucks at the hotel?
A: Yes, it is located in the hotel lobby (Mon-Fri 6AM-4PM)
Q: Can I charge room service, incidentals, or additional food purchases to my purchase card (P-card)?
A: NO. You may not charge room service, incidentals, or any additional food purchases to your company purchase card during the conference. We have already purchased meals, snacks, and drinks for all attendees throughout the conference. Any such charges made to P-cards will not be approved for reimbursement and must be paid personally. Please plan accordingly for any personal expenses.
Q: How do I pay for travel day meals?
A: PLEASE REMEMBER: YOU MAY NOT USE YOUR P-CARD FOR THESE PURCHASES. Per Diem Eligibility:
- Richmond-based team members: No per diem
- Team members traveling from greater than 50 miles from the conference hotel: $100 per diem
What the $100 Per Diem Covers:
- Meals during the conference
- Baggage fees (if flying)
- This amount INCLUDES mileage – you cannot submit separate mileage expense reports
P-Card Usage:
- P-cards cannot be used for conference expenses without written prior approval from Ryan or Sarah
- You must receive written approval BEFORE making any P-card purchases
Airport Parking:
- If you are flying and have airport parking fees, these can be expensed separately (not included in the $100 per diem)
- Submit receipts for airport parking through normal expense reporting

No additional expense reimbursements will be approved without prior written authorization from Sarah or Ryan
Q: What if I have food allergies, dietary restrictions, or need special accommodations?
A: We want to ensure everyone has a comfortable and safe experience at the conference. If you have any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or require special accommodations, please visit our Special Requests page on the conference website and complete the form:
- Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions:
- Indicate all food allergies or dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, etc.)
- Submit the form at least two weeks before the conference (by September 17, 2025)
- The catering team will be notified of all special dietary requirements
- Accessibility Needs:
- The Omni Richmond Hotel is ADA compliant
- If you require specific accommodations (wheelchair access, hearing assistance, etc.), please note this on the Special Requests form. All information provided will be kept confidential and shared only with those who need to know to implement the accommodations.
Q: Will there be opportunities for networking?
A: Absolutely! We have scheduled networking events, including a cocktail hour and a themed dinner party on Wednesday evening. There will also be breaks between sessions for informal networking and a VIP cocktail reception before the Awards Ceremony on Thursday.
Q: How do I get from Richmond International Airport (RIC) to the conference hotel?
A: Transportation from the airport to the Omni Richmond Hotel will be arranged for all attendees. Here’s what you need to know:
- You will receive an email confirmation with your flight information for the IGNITE Conference.
- Transportation from the airport to the Omni will be provided by James Limousine. Please look for the CSL sign!
Q: What are the check-in and check-out times at the Omni Richmond Hotel?
A: The standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and the check-out time is 12:00 PM.
